Dear friends and fellow advocates,
I am writing this open letter to share my excitement about the incredible social activism and collaborative efforts taking place in Las Vegas. As president of the National Action Network Las Vegas chapter (NANLV), and with the recent news of my appointment as the publisher of The Urban Voice (TUV), I’m filled with a new sense of purpose and determination to make a positive impact in our community.
First, let me express my gratitude to Joseph Abraham for his trust in me and the appointment of publisher of TUV. Joseph, it is an honor and privilege to be trusted with your vision. And to every one of you who have supported me on this journey thus far, your unwavering belief in the power of collective action and the importance of amplifying diverse voices has been truly inspiring.
Vegas, known for its entertainment and bustling nightlife, is a city of immense potential. It is also home to diverse communities that often face systemic challenges and inequalities. Through NANLV, we are committed to advocating for social justice, equality, and the empowerment of marginalized groups. We work tirelessly to ensure that the voices of the unheard are heard, and their concerns are addressed.
NANLV’s core values align perfectly with the mission of TUV. I am thrilled to take on the responsibility of being its publisher. This platform will serve as a powerful tool to showcase the stories, experiences, and achievements of our community. It will be a space where we can shed light on the issues that matter most to us and foster meaningful dialogue that leads to positive change.
I am incredibly excited about the collaborations that are already underway.
