TOMORROW: Joint Center and NORC at the University of Chicago discuss Congressional Priorities

Experts to discuss survey results on what Americans want from Congress

What: The Joint Center for Political and Economic Studies and NORC at the University of Chicago will go live on Instagram to provide an overview for “Building a More Inclusive Agenda: A Survey of Congressional Priorities Across Race,” a survey of more than 1,200 Americans across race and ethnicity to understand the importance of priorities for members of Congress. Americans were surveyed on policies related to racial equity, jobs and skills training, tax policy, and regulating technology.

Why: As Congress works on several priorities through the end of the year, the Joint Center is releasing the survey results to inform members of what Americans say they should be prioritizing.

Date: Friday, Oct. 6, 11 a.m. ET @ instagram.com/jointcenter

Who: Jessica Fulton, interim president of the Joint Center for Political and Economic Studies and VP, Policy, and Dr. Juan Carlos Donoso, senior research scientist in The Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research at the University of Chicago.
